I am a Daniel descendant. I am also gay. I find this alleged humor incredibly offensive. I have difficulty in imaging any motivation for sending this out other than to inculcate derision and unpleasantness. When I receive things like this, I ask myself, what do I have in common with some one who would send out something like this? Why should I cooperate in genealogical research with such a person?
