Daniel was George Brown Daniel. I found a little more evidence of the same. On my last trip in SLC I did some more MO Jackson records and found that in Deed H92 the last naming of George B. Daniel before the signatures has "rown" added above the initial B (same ink and pressure, clearly looks like it's from the same recording time, just smaller). George and Rebecca are selling two tracts to John Daniel on 10 Aug 1836: 40a, NW SE S25 T47 R30, also 40a, NW NE S35 T47 R30. This deed was recorded 13 Dec 1841. These are two of the grants he had obtained on 7 Sep 1838. I double checked the 1836 sale year, it's definitely 1836. The first tract (in Section 25) is the one that was surrounded N-W-S by John Daniel (who got his tracts on the same date as George B.).
