I had posted on another thread concerning our William Daniel (my ggg-grandfather). Since this information is mostly (dates and names) from a Family Bible, here it is again for this thread below. We know at least two boys survived the War, but have no idea as to any descendants today thus far. Interestingly, in my notes I also show a Priscilla SKINNER (1803-1882, no parents info) m. Smith Coffee DANIEL, Sr. (17 Nov 1794-8 Jul 1836) in 1825. Burial 1: Unknown, Indian fighter Burial 2: From Claiborne, MS Census: Wealthy plantation and slave owner. They had a son, Smith Coffee DANIEL, Jr. (1826-1861) (Source: Compendium of American Genealogy, 732.) Smith Coffee Daniel Sr. is the son of Charles DANIEL (no info) and Elizabeth COFFEE (26 Dec 1775-1832, who married 2nd - T. LIGON. Elizabeth was a daughter of Peter Coffee Jr. and Sarah Smith, and a sister of the Georgia Maj. Gen'l. John E. Coffee (a cousin of Andrew Jackson's buddy, the Tennessee Gen'l. John Coffee). Alexander Ewing Harris Jr. b. 1844 Tallahassee, FL (served with Campbell's Siege Artillery and 29th Battalion, Georgia Volunteer Cavalry, CSA) 7. Virginia Lucina Cornelia Daniel b. 10 Feb 1848 m.
