Is it possible that you have a male Daniel who could participate in our Daniel DNA Project? And, most importantly, we have located the brother-in-law of Pamela Daniel who started this message board thread in 2001. He has agreed to take the DNA test. The process takes a while, but we should have results by the end of the year. In the mean time, the info at www.talesofold.net is to be viewed as a work in progress based on many years of research. Their earliest known "Proven" ancestor is still Theophilus Daniel who married Penelope Goodson. The search for the fabled William Daniel from Ireland goes on... In a phone conversation with my cousin Anne O'Brian whose Georgia DNA participant is a DNA match with me, I brought up my cousin Jerry Wayne's idea of William Daniel of Ireland. Anne's response was "Which William: There were so many?" Anne has a good point. Hopefully we will sort some of this out. Stay tuned...
