I want to second a BIG THANKS to Kevin for updating the results page. While this page may seem trivial to some, it helps me keep track of kit numbers as they are connected to my living cousins, something not shown on my private login page. I got started in the DNA project in 2003. At that time I had one match, a Mr. Faron Daniel from Tennessee (kit 5404-one of the founders as we are now up to over 150 thousand kits). Along with good basic research like census records, family Bible records, and a lot of effort, we now have a core of seven DNA participants from our family. In the process we have eliminated false leads. I am not related to Jasper Newton (Jack) Daniel despite what Lem Motlow's brother Felix thought, and the fact that my gg-gf Robert C. Daniel is buried there in Moore Co Tenn on Daniel Hollow just a few miles north of Lynchburg. The DNA helped sort this out. Our family is potentially on the verge of connecting back from my Mississippi, Tennessee, and as we learned this year even Georgia, roots back to Ireland, again thanks to the DNA project.
