I have a Daniel Owen who married 2nd Winifred (nee unk)Tatum/Tatum. Believe they came to Chatham Co., NC after the Rev. War. I do not know where they migrated from. Winifred died about 1831 in Chatham Co., NC at about age 90. Her children from her 1st marriage were Jesse Tatum, Mary Tatum Bynum & Winifred Tatum Bennett. Winifred Tatum married William Bennett and is the only one of Winifred's children I have found living in Chatham Co. She also had three granddaughters, Mary, Martha & Dolly Arnol?, Arnot?, Arnold? A son of Daniel Owen married into my Marmaduke Daniel family. Marmaduke & wife, Sarah seem to have adopted/or raised a William Smith. This Daniel family may have come from Brunswick Co., VA.
