Witt. It also shows a marriage of a John W. Daniel to Mary E. Witt. The name Daniel is so often misspelled I tried the LDS familysearch site for this family, since it often shows varied spellings. The 1880 census wrote the name as Danil. The ages show some variation, but that is not unusual in census records. 1880 Virginia, Franklin Co. All births, including parents are shown as Virginia Wm. Ransom Danil, age 50, occ. miller Mary Elizabeth Danil, wife, age 42 John William Danil, son, age 13 Arabella C. Danil, daughter, age 11 James Henry Danil, son, age 10 Benj. Archer Danil, son, age 9 R. Wesley Danil, son, age 6 1870 Virginia, Albemarle County (this time an "s" is added to the name) Wm R Daniels, 41, occ miller Mary E. Daniels, 28 Virginia A. Daniels, age 4 John W. Daniels, age 3 Elizabeth Daniels, age 2 Arabella C. Daniels, age 8 mos. Also living with them was an older woman: Elizabeth Suddath, age 84, b. VA. In 1870 the relationship to Head of the Household was not given. This should give you some additional locations to check.
