Does anyone on the list connect to the Daniel family of Bedford County, Tennessee.   I have been trying to help someone with their line of Daniel and I put together a time line starting with 1840.   The probblem I am having is that, with the exception of two or three, no one seems to use the same given name in any one census year.   I am trying to find the parents of Ben Daniel who was born abt. 1879.  I think that his parents were Robert Daniel and Rebecca Ann? (--?--).  The problem:  Ben is found on the WWI Draft Registration but I can't find him before that.   I did find Robert and Rebecca in 1880 with sons, Andrew and Jimmie.  Andrew subsequently goes by Sampson Daniel.  My question:  Is Ben actually James Benjamin?   I would also like to know who Robert's parents were.  There are three Robert Daniel*S who are about the same age.   I have checked Rootsweb and the Bedford County, Tennessee Daniel family is always stated as being connected to Hiram Daniel which I have not run into this name.    Another clue...this family has connections to Plummer Daniel.  I believe that Ben will connect back to Robert C.
