My GGG Grandfather, William Presley Daniel was born 1791 in Laurens co, SC. He married 1813 SC to Nancy Reynolds. Their fifth child (of 6)was also a John Daniel. He is my GG grandfather. My Daniel Family lived in Indiana, but came from Tennessee. My father was Jesse Byrd Daniel and his first wife was a Morrow also form Tennessee. They settled in Gibson Co, IN Some other members of his family moved to Anderson, Indiana for awhile, but returned to their family roots. Please ask one of your male Daniel family members to do the DNA testing. The Daniel project is building up good data on many lines and it's helping to solve lineage questions and correct old errors; this is so important for for future researchers and for helping people with paper trail difficulties.
