Author: nataliedbauman Surnames: Daniel Hanline Graham Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.daniel/2191/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I Want to trade info about my Great grandfather's Father - Robert Daniel 1828-1884 who moved from MO to TX in 1866. He is a descendent of the Middlesex Daniels, his move to TX with his new wife Nancy Elizabeth Graham is even mentioned in a history book (The U S Biographical Dictionary and Portrait Galley of Eminent and Self Made Men) also mentions his parents Robert Daniel and Catherine Hanline. Does anyone have pictures of either one of the Robert Daniel s or of their wives Catherine Hanline or Nancy Graham Daniel? Does anyone know anything at all about the Hanline family? Thanks!! The file is huge, they charged $50.00 and if the copys cost 10 cents each, they lost money.  There were 3 fileings of the case, because they erred in how the estate was to be divided.  Henry, Stephen H. and Martha E.were the only surviving children of Henry Daniel and Judith.  Thomas E. Walton got Stephen H.'s part. Henry S.,Thomas E., and Martha Walton took 1/3 of Thomas Daniel's estate.  Elizabeth Daniel-Clement-Kenyon had 5 children 3 by William Clement 2 by William Kenyon Elizabeth's whole family had died by 1850.  Stephen Daniel and Mary Willis had only one child Martha who married William Baughan.  The Baughan children recieved 1/3 of Thomas Daniel's estate.  William Daniel Jr. died 1798, no heirs.  Judith Daniel married Vincent Tabb they had 2 children listed.  W.H.S. Tabb & Thomas Tabb.  Thomas Tabb died left no heirs.  W.H.S. Tabb had Augusta Tabb & Henry Blucher Tabb.  Henry B. Tabb died no heirs.  Augusta Tabb married James Knox Walker.  They received 1/3 of Thoma! s Daniel's estate.  In the first suit they were to receive 1/5., as well as the Baughan Children. There is a sworn statement by Jane S. Eanes that she was well aquainted with Martha Daniel who was the daughter of Stephen Daniel.  That the said Martha lived at the home of her then husband Joseph Brackett.  That said Joseph Brackett was her guardian and that was married at his home to William Baughan.  That the said Martha is now dead and she left seven children whose names are Stephen D., James C.,joseph T.,Mary F., Alexina B.,Richard H., and Martha Jane- This affadivt (sic) further declares that she was well acquanted with Thomas Daniel who moved from Powhatan Co. some 50 years ago- that he was the brother of the aforesaid Stephen Danieland the said Stephen Daniel has been dead many years and left no other child except the said Martha Daniel who married William Baughan.

The 1810 Census is not mentioned. I ordered the whole file it cost fifty bucks but it was worth it! I'm still going through it and everytime I do I notice more details. I got a copy of four page letter that Henry Daniel wrote to John Morris, also letters written by Thomas E. Walton. Sworn statement from Jane S. Eanes, former wife of Joseph Brackett. All of William'Daniel"s children are listed, along with his children"s children. Josiah Thompson's son George is listed 1810 Census same page as Henry Daniel. Also, Elizabeth Kenyon Henry's sister. Josiah Thompson and Sally Cox only had one child, George. Josiah married Christina Ford, Amelia Co. 1788, and they had one son , and two daughters. 1. [DANIEL] Daniel Group to Brazil after Civil War
    2. Some of you searching the descendants of this group may already have this info, but in deep searching on my own Daniel group in Texas, I ran into the following on the 1910 (or 1920) Texas census on Ancestry: J. S. Daniel ( or J. A.), born Brazil, 1868, immigrated to U. S. in Texas ca. 1902. Wife and children's' names, ages, etc, listed. Sorry, I didn't write down the county, but it was down along the Coast. This is not my line, and I have no further info on them - just remembered seeing queries about them on the List. ____________________________________________________________ Digital Photography - Click Now. http://thirdpartyoffers.juno.com/TGL2141/fc/BLSrjpTDvmQfOOJ5FzpK2HEaYhnaWx2RaCwmuK7wSBTqVs3b4Q1DTvMHDdG/

Numerous researchers and also found on Ancestry "ONE WORLD TREE" assignments of James Key DANIEL as father of my John Daniel born 1809 NC., probably in reference to one of my earlier DANIEL Board msgs to Genealogy.com or Ancestry.com, however, I cannot confirm this assignment since DNA results do not back up this assignment. I have enough difficulty finding sources to make assignments of Reuben to his brothers, sisters and parents as it is, since as Anne put it before her demise, I cannot source the Motlow and Heinemann assignments or as she put it, "believe the fairy tale". I can certainly use help from anyone with sources on my family research.
