    3. Anyone have any info on Amariah Daniel listed in the 1820 Bibb County, Ga. Census. He married Elizabeth C. Pearson, Jul 31, 1834. I found a few things in Emanuel County pertaining to him circa 1840. 1. He witenssed a deed along with Jordan Flanders. 2. Was listed on 1841 Tax digest. I found this in a book and he was listed as Hiriah(?). Went and pulled the book from the Courthouse and Iooks like Amiriah to me. Any ideas? Could I be wrong? Dawn

    3. You folks haven't been straining your gray cells lately so take a shot at this. Payne Isaiah Daniel of Orange County, NC., married to Charlotte Price King and Mary Whittaker. Some suggest that he is a son of Gillum or Hugh Daniel probably of the Marmaduke Daniel/Sarah Family? This is the only Isaiah in my data base and I can't pin him down to a specific family. Comments please!! "an old handwritten survey which was captioned Division of Daniel Lands 1834. This shows Hugh with 120 acres, Anderson with 120 acres, Isaiah with 120 acres, James with 100 acres, Pinkney 100 acres. Also shows a Campbell with 100 acres. This land was in Chatham County." 2. Carol: I think this is the same Spencer Shelton that married Maragret Ingram in Pittsylvania also (Ingram's & Dodson's from Pitttsylvania/Halifax are also one of my lines) The descendants of Crispen Shelton also were in the Confederados movement as were my Daniel line. 2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Nummy, Taylor, Nelson, Daniel, Causey, Caldwell Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/GNR.2ACIB/1840 Message Board Post: I am looking for anyone who may connect with this person. She was married to Allen Nelson and had Lucy and possibly Peter and Marg or Mary. In 1870 GA Census in the same household are Martha J, 16; Mary or Marg L., 14; Charles, 10; and Jonathan, 8. I think she may have been married before to Jonath Daniel who may have died between 1850 and 1860. I am trying to discover her maiden name if not DANIEL, then hopefully find other relatives. She was the mother of Lucy Nelson Taylor who is my grandmother's mother. Thanks for any help!

    3. According to John: ....Weston, "West" Harris was the son of Edmund HARRIS and Mary TURNER of Salisbury Dist., Montgomery County, NC. He married a Mary TURNER, according to my notes, and had a sons, named Rowland HARRIS born 23 Jun 1754, location not listed. It was Rowland that married Sarah DANIEL. I do not have anything on Rowland and Sarah however, Edmund's brother, Nathan, was the progenitor of the HARRIS line tied to the WALTONS of Greenville County, VA and later my family in Madison, Morgan County, GA - the RICHTERS. I need the family connection for this Sarah DANIEL?
