If anyone who believes they are descended from Nicholas Dale would test with FTDNA it would be a way to confirm genealogy and branches of the family tree. My father's family tree traces back to Nicholas Dale, and I have been looking for him in England, although his departure from either London or Bristol does not insure that he wasn't for elsewhere in the British Isles. I have found a Nycholas Dayle christened February 1605, which is the closest date to Nicholas attesting he was 20 in 1624 in Virginia. Please consider Y-DNA testing as a method to sort out genealogy.
