You may have already found this information, but sm writing just in case...I've had trouble searching the Dales, too. My great-grandfather, Hiram Dale, was born in Russel, VA, about 1855. His father was also Hiram Dale, born 1809. I show a Patsey Dale living with Hiram Dale, along with other sublings/children. Hiram's wife, Elizabeth Dotson, b 1818.
