So Sarah Keyes would not have passed on these Y chromosones. I am not sure how anyone determined the relationship. My line of Dales were from Scotland with a few of them imigrating to Ireland in the late 17th century. One branch settled first in County Derry, Ireland and then sailed for America--to Maryland. From thence they branched out to Carolina, Missouri, etc. There are a number of male Dales this Ulster Scots line that have worked together on research, including DNA. There appears to be no relationship at all to the English Dales, some of whom settled in Virginia--including Nicholas. I will be curious to learn how he has determined a relatioship to Sarah Ann Keye. Ron Dale Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
