My maiden name is Dale. He moved to North Chattanooga, near the Tennessee River (found out from census records). He lived there with several family members that came (apparently on a ship) with him from Germany. Now, many of my family members moved to places like Oklahoma, Talking Rock GA, Chattanooga TN. I know we have to be related to the ones that went to Missouri. Our family has been so vague about the history that it's been hard to trace them. In my line, there are names like: Sara, John, Elizabeth, Eve, Eva, Charles, & Margaret that keep on resurfacing, as I trace roots.
