    3. Something doesn't sound right here. I'm certainly not an expert on LDS processes, but I would be very surprised if they only had one microfilm of the passenger list. If that be the case, there is also the option of getting NARA films through your local library. I received some passenger list films through the library and about the only difference from LDS is that shipping had to be paid in addition to the rental fee and the wait time was a little longer then through the FHC. Good luck, Jim Sladek Lorraine Richard wrote: > Regarding obtaining a microfilm copy of Baltimore passenger list from the > LDS, I have had a request in for over a year for a particular Baltimore > passenger list the word that I get is that they are converting tis type of > information tao be PC accessible - but it will be at least a year before > tthe tape itself is available. > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Jim Sladek" <jim.lists@att.net> > To: <CZECH-L@rootsweb.com> > Sent: Friday, April 02, 2004 1:59 PM > Subject: Re: [CZ] How To Find Passengers... > > > >>Get the Baltimore passenger list index and find their index card. 3. Hi I am in Australia and have ordered copies of microfilms of ships list from LDS and never had any problems other then the usual 6 weeks for the request to get there and a copy of the film which stays in Australia here. Different family history centres have copies of the films in their collections - have you tried the state centre which should be from memory in your capitol city?
