    3. My grandparents immigrated from Western Bohemia(in the village of Falkenau on the Eger) to America in 1904. They landed in Baltimore on June 12, 1904 and settled in Appleton Wisconsin, where I live. I have a date and place where they landed, but I am unable to find any information. I'm not sure where they left from, probably Germany. Any ideas would be appreciated. Barb --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! 3. Get the Baltimore passenger list index and find their index card. If I recall correctly, much of the arival information is on the index card for Baltimore listings - if not, it should indicate the ship and arrival date. Then get the ship listings for the Baltimore arrivals and look for them on the passenger list. Most early century emigrants left from German ports. Passenger indexes and lists are on microfilm and available from t\your local LDS Family History Center. For more info on passenger lists, etc., go to: http://home.att.net/~wee-monster/passengers.html Regards, Jim Sladek barb bodoh wrote: > My grandparents immigrated from Western Bohemia(in the village of > Falkenau on the Eger) to America in 1904. 3. Regarding obtaining a microfilm copy of Baltimore passenger list from the LDS, I have had a request in for over a year for a particular Baltimore passenger list the word that I get is that they are converting tis type of information tao be PC accessible - but it will be at least a year before tthe tape itself is available. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jim Sladek" <jim.lists@att.net> To: <CZECH-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, April 02, 2004 1:59 PM Subject: Re: [CZ] How To Find Passengers... > Get the Baltimore passenger list index and find their index card.
