I have been to the site, did register awhile back when this site first was discussed on list (see archives). I went again today because of expressed concerns, want to reassure everyone there are *no* popups, there were *no* cookies laid into my computer, and so far as I can tell they simply are requiring registration to prevent incorrect surname submissions. We are doing the same for our Czech surnames listing at the Czech Mail List website.
