No, I didn't go to the church. In 1980 they had sent me a marriage cert. but no parents names or where born. I asked if I could go and look at the records they had told me no. In 2002 I wrote again and found out that the record were at OLP. I called and SEC said she would look it up if I would wait. Silly girl. Wait I wouldn't move. She told me under birthplace there was something with Boh after it. I told her that was what I was looking for. When I asked her if I could go in and read it myself she said yes. However the following week when I called to say I was going the next day she was oout sick. The man who answered said he would try and help me to call back the next day. I did. He couldn't read the writing either. When I asked how much the bus was from GrandCentral he said I should take the subway. However with my heart (4 way by pass) I couldn't do the stairs. That's when he said he would send me a copy. 22 years to fins out something that they could have told me when I first wrote. Good Luck Jackie
