    1. Re: [CZ] Re: RESEARCHING SURNAMES
    2. Hi, Ron, I've read your many responses to the Czech queries in this forum. Thank you for all your responses. Today you mentioned the Czech census. I have been searching my family in the US and Czech Republic for many years and have used genealogists in the Czech Republic a number of times as well as conducting research in the archives myself. I have never accessed the Czech census. Can you provide some insight as to how one accesses any census, what time periods are covered, etc. I am primarily searching in the early1800's and 1700's, but see this as an opportunity to fill in some collateral lines and descendancies that I have not wanted to pay genealogists to complete. Any insights would be greatly appreciated! -------------- Original message -------------- > --=======7E0973F8======= > Content-Type: text/plain; x-avg-checked=avg-ok-29036644; charset=us-ascii; > format=flowed > Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit > > Wanda, > > One word of encouragement is that every message to this list is archived > and searchable.
