Jackie, Do you remember the name of the person you worked with at Our Lady of Peace? When they sent you copies, did you need to have an exact date? Was there a charge? At the time I wrote to them, I had many questions which they couldn't answer. They responded by sending me a baptismal certificate for my mother. That was kind of them but I already had that and was really searching for information going back to 1885. I am searching for my great grandparent's marriage records to no avail. The 1900 census says they were married 15 years but I have searched city records for several years and found nothing. Apparently, it wasn't necessary to have a license or marriage registration. As a result, Catholic marriages were not always registered Thanks for any help. The names I am searching are Hala and Holecek Susan W . -------------- Original message -------------- > I also did some research for the CHURCH OF OUR LADY OF PERPETUAL HELP. > Thru OUR LADY OF PEACE.
