Sandy - You sound like me giving advice -- looks like I should take my own. I reviewed the information I had about dates and yes, there are conflicting dates. I have tried ancestry for census records, etc. and am thinking of taking a quarterly membership to passenger records. I have a genealogy membership for passenger records but I don't really like it as you cannot look at actual records. Early this year I took a one-month membership to genealogy.com census records. I found the genealogy.com better for census records -- found everything I wanted and more. Well, just kidding --- there's always one more question to answer, isn't there? Thanks again for the advice.
