    3. Hello Lynn, I know I did not give much info on my names research. I was on this List a couple of other times and never had any success, so just thought I would throw those names out there. Yes, my Lopour/Lapour's came to America, at least some did and some remained in Czech. My grandfather Anton Lopour who married Emily Dusek ---He was born 1870 in the Protestant Village of Prosec to Antonin Lopour and Anna Cerveny. He came to the US at age 19-20, in 1890, going to Marshalltown, Iowa where his Uncle Joseph Lopour ( also from Czech) lived, however moved on to Texas for some reason. There he met Emily Dusek, daughter of Frank Dusek and Anna Motl ( Motlova) and they were married in Texas and raised three daughters and five sons, my father the second son & child. Anton died in 1914 in a hospital at Post, Texas. Emily Dusek was the first child of her parents born in America ( 1870) as her parents & siblings had just come to the US by way of Port of Galveston and they remained in Texas where many of their descendants still live. The Duseks were from around Dolni Cermna . I have much info on my Dusek family, both in Czech and America. Anna Cerveny, wife of Anton Lopour, my great-grandfather was living in the Prostestant Village of Prosec at the time of their marriage , tho her marriage data indicated she was a Catholic. As far as I have been able to discover, only one brother has been located, Joseph Cerveny who was younger than she and came to the US after Anna's family came in 1890. His descendants live in Texas and Oklahoma. Joseph's wife ( I think) was a Coufal and I am a aquainted ( by email) to one of her relations. I understand after Antonin Lopour died, Anna Cerveny Lopour married a man by name of Mihulka ( may be spelled wrong) and died in Marshalltown, Iowa. Anna's father was Jan Cerveny and mother may have been Anna Teply. Antonin Lopour was born abt 1845 in Czech., came to America 1890, settled in Marshalltown, IA and died early 1900's. His parents were Antonin Lopour and Fannie ( Frantiska) Faimon( Fajmon). They too lived in the Protestant Village of Prozec and married in 1845. We believe this Antonin Lopour's father to have been Jiri Lopour. I have no further info on these Lopours. Coufal's--Mine married into the Dusek family. Motl, ggrandmother Anna Motl, wife of Frank Dusek --I do not have much info on the Motl's. I would guess I am related to all Texas Duseks, plus other. Maybe this info will be more helpful. Someone may not respond now, but 5 years from now may search on a name and turn up one of your posts to the list. Secondly, you have a lot of information already, so what are you looking for now? If you want to know the identities of parents and siblings back in the Czech Republic, the Czech Census Records are a good place to start.
