With them were 15 other persons listing their village as Radkowitz, 4 from Malinetz, 2 from Zinkovy, 1 from Radachow, all traveling together for St. Louis. In using http://mapy,altas.cz/ found all these villages closest to Mecin. - which is where I think I'll research next. - If anyone has further suggestions - I'm all ears. -------------- Previous message -------- I think your logic is perfect here and you should start at this particular Radkowitz. These are not coincidences! You might consider doing a surname check on Ellis Island records to see if there were any other ships later with persons from the same village with the same surname. If you have other surnames, use Steven Morse's search forms for the village and the surnames. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~elainetmaddox/index.htm Ron Mlejnek --=======287D5EBD======= Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii; x-avg=cert; x-avg-checked=avg-ok-4578575E Content-Disposition: inline --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
