Thanks, Cassandra. I have tried 1868 - 9. I can't confirm the dates as Iowa didn't do birth records that early. I only have word of mouth that they came in 1867. They were here in 1870 on the census. These people were so bad with dates that none of their ages on the later census agree, and their death certificates are not the same, even the tomb stone is different. so, I could be way off on when they came here. The records are much more accurate in the Cz Rep so I'm going to try the Archives in Pilsen. It takes 6 months to hear back from them but I don't have any other ideas.
