I am in the process of planning a trip to the Czech Republic (southeastern Moravia) in late August and have heard from a couple of sources that this is a bad time to travel because everyone is on vacation. I have been told that May and September are great months. Own experience I went on Sept 21 and returned Oct 22. I had a great time, weather was nice, but cool later part of Oct. but again nice. I could not have picked a better time as far as travel is concerned. I did not see big crowds, even in Prague, tourist were at a minimum. Next time hopefully in May 2005 I can go again.
