The Chicago Demographic Analysis Workshop will teach you to extract, query,= =20 download, analyze, and map Census demographic data for Chicago and=20 surrounding communities. (Note: Participants may substitute their own=20 community in exercises-all techniques are directly transferable to other=20 communities). Such data can provide grant writers, social researchers and=20 community planners with powerful tools for analyzing community changes.=20 This is a streamlined, =93hands on=94 workshop where each participant works= on=20 their own computer throughout the day.
