If it is the first, you should subscribe to the GERMAN-BOHEMIAN List. Information about subscribing can be found at the Czech Web Site: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~elainetmaddox/index.htm Susan Williams mentioned Steve Morse web site. If you look at the 4th link one the left menu entitled "Ellis Island Records II", that will take you there and you only have to have 1 bookmark. (:-)) I have not used it for enumeration districts because I think that is by paid subscription only; but for Chicago, I contacted the local genealogical society and they gave me the districts for a specific address for every year. That made census searching a lot easier. Ron - do you know of anywhere in New York which will help find Enumeration districts in New York? That would be a tremendous help. The Manhattan Public Library on Fifth Avenue has a genealogy room where they have enlarged maps of Manhattan (you can use them to figure out Enumeration Districts". The maps show the E.D.'s for various census's. At least you can get a very good idea -- not as good as Chicago which will find the E.D. by address. Sorry I can't remember the name of the lady who asked for this information but I hope it helps. Susan W.
