Do you know which part of Bohemia your grandfather was from? I have some Kolar's in my family; mostly from the north-eastern part of the Czech Republic. My granddad ,Charles Kolar most likely came from the same area as a brother-in law , James(Jim) Teyro came from in the Bohemia village of Drahotesice of the now Czech Republic (My guess anyway)? It appears that G/D kolar had a older sister Mary , who married James Teyro in Minnesota (Montgomery, MN. area) His other siblings were two brothers, John & Anton. They appear to have settled in the Minneapolis (Hennin CO ) area. He married Anna Zvanovec abt. 1898 or 1900 in Montgomery, MN. My mother was born to them in June 24, 1901(Her name was Lillian H. Kolar) she had two brothers & two sisters & all them were born in OK. I know, I giving you more than you ask for ,but I have hit A Wall on the Kolar G/parents dates of their immigration here to the USA from the Czech lands. Thanks for you interest & help. Eddie R. Hello Erh, This is the site that houses all of the naturalization papers for Minnesota. Go to the site, click on "Database Search", and enter the name in the search box. There is one Charles, two sets of papers, for that name. However, the person is located in Faribault, Rice County at the time of filing. http://www.ironrangeresearchcenter.org/<http://www.ironrangeresearchcenter.org/> Good Luck!
