Joseph R. Vavra b: 12 Mar 1848 in Mala Chyzka (or Christon?), Bohemia, Czechoslovakia, d: 10 Feb 1928 in Tabor, Bon Homme Co, SD, USA and Barbara Sit b: 05 Dec 1850 in Kvetus, Cxechoslovakia, d: 23 Sep 1926 in Tabor, Bon Homme Co, SD, USA. They were married abt 1874 possibly in SD, USA but I am not sure. They 1920 US census says he came to the US in 1852 probably with his parents I immagine. Barbara's parents Jan Sit and Marie Dvorak were from Austria and they also came to the US abt 1852. Joseph and Barbara's first child was born in Illinois and all the rest were born in Yankton, SD, USA. ANy information even just a link to where I can find more information about getting records on this family would be great. I have Joseph's death cert from SD and it does not list his parents' names.
