I have found out recently that there is a "high" Czech and a "low" Czech....or at least there used to be. My family insists that they spoke "Bohemian" and that they couldn't understand the "high" Czech or Bohemian. What are the differences? This would explain why my mom cannot understand much of what I am saying in Czech (the "modern" version on tape/CD) thanks judi
