Jiri Levicek impresses audiences with his grasp of standard jazz music adding original elements and dabs of classical and folk motifs, accompanied by a talented drummer Kamil Slezak and bass guitarist Vlastimil Trllo. This fresh jazz trio will get you in the mood to relax and unwind. The Czech trio's repertoire is comprised largely of compositions written by Jiri Levicek himself, who graduated from the prestigious Janacek Music Academy in Brno with honors. He takes his influence from the music of multi-Grammy nominated saxophonist Bill Evans, jazz drummer Peter Erskine, and jazz pianists: McCoy (Alfred) Tyner, Keith Jarrett, Brad Mehldau, and Geri Allen.
