Rose -- Thank you. I would be very interested in learning what you have. Here is what I have. Vincent Jedlicka - born in Bohemia - probably Cirkvice - about 1837. I am sort of remembering off the top of my head! Vincent was the son of Vincent Jedlicka and Anna Cochnar Married to T. Katerina Kralicek - born in Bohemia - probably Cirkvice - born about 1837 or a little later. We don't know her parents names. We do know they came from Cirkvice as this is what my grandfather told us. However, there is more than one Cirkvice; I do not think it is the one that is east of Kutna Hora but I could be wrong. My grandparents used to say that her family was from the "city" and he was a "country boy" or at least his family from the country. Whether it is the truth or not, we probably will never know. They married in Bohemia, as far as we know, and arrived in NYC approximately 1870. They had five children: Louis, Emma, Clara, Frank, Emil - all born in NYC. I assume there were other children who died as Louis was born about 1877. Seven years seems to be a long time without children; I have looked for birth records for the children I know about but did not find the earlier ones. I am planning on searching through death records to see if there might be something. Looking forward to hearing from you.
