Thank you, Jiri. My direct ancestors were already in the US by 1882. But I am curious about any family left behind. We know nothing about the family who stayed behind. Interesting though, my grandmother, b. 1887 in the United States, went to Prague in 1907. She then went to several towns in the District of Kutna Hora. In the town of Cirkvice and Vosrkrac, she visited two elderly aunts - one was named Johanna Mlnek and the other Antonie Veber. The names were written on a postcard my grandma mailed in 1907. Have you ever heard of Vosrkrac or Voserkrace. I understand it was in or near Cirkvice and has been made part of Cirkvice now. Thank you for your help.
