Hi Mary, try the german red cross https://www.drk-suchdienst.eu/content/categoryshow.php?CatID=2&lang=en they have an card register with over 50 million names, also about "Sudetendeutsche" You must fill an Form, send it to them and they do research for free. But it will need time for an answer. I found for example in the czech archive, that the wife from my ggrandfather's brother and two children from her and also a grandchild was driven out from the "Sudetenland" in 1946. I have then sent this Form to the red cross in the august 2007. End from the last year I have heard that they could find this persons in theirs card index. Now I know, that an part from this family was arrived in Germany. The red cross write then to the parish or town, where the people was later assigned. This parish write (perhaps anytime) back, that this family went for example later to an other country and town etc. Then, the red cross write again to this country and town etc. and so further and further.. Till they can find maybe an still living person from this family. It needs time. But I think anytime I will receive an letter from the red cross with good news. You can also try the search service from the church http://www.kirchlicher-suchdienst.de/en/ but I think the do charge at least 20$ per half hour or so, please read self good luck Lars Germany ----- Original Message ----- From: "List Administration" <etmaddox@verizon.net> To: "CZECH-L" <CZECH-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, January 08, 2008 8:54 PM Subject: [CZ] Fwd: CZECH Mail List Query Entry > > > OUTPUT_FORM= > Mary Scott, < texanrose7@aol.com > has sent the following query to the > CZECH Mail List: > > Query= Does anyone know where I can get information regarding ethnic > Germans that were relocated from Bohemie to Germany after WWII?
