On at least two occasions I have written the mayors of Drzkov and Podmoky (Caslav area) requesting information on people with the same surname. In the case of Podmoky, the mayor had the same surname as a member of my family...I enclosed some cash for return postage....no reply, but probably had a couple of pevos. I did not receive a reply from Drzkov either. I even tried e-mailing them. I also e-mailed the mayors office in Hradec Karlove w/o response.
