Nicole Kenjura* The conscription and military duties were the biggest obstruction to emigration consent. Military conscription referred to all male persons of 21 years of age and more. In the Fifties a District Military Command had to give their standpoint to any application, no matter if the applicant was twenty or seventy, later only in cases of conscription age of the applicants, i.e. 21 - 35 years of age. This information was found online and I hope this answers your question. - C > > > >
