I've found some info on my family, before they came to the US. My great-grandfather was born in Sedlec in 1849. His name was Frantisek Palensky. His parents were Jan P. born in 1827 and Anna Rzezanina born in 1823. He immigrated to the US in 1873 with someone named Bette. We don't know who she was or where she went. He had two other brothers, Jakub and Karel, who also emigrated. I would like to find death dates for his parents. And would also like to know what happened to his brother Joseph (b. 1851), and sisters Anna (b. b. 1859) and Veronika (b. 1854). Can someone tell me how I can find this info? Many thanks! - Maddie **************Create a Home Theater Like the Pros. Watch the video on AOL Home. (http://home.aol.com/diy/home-improvement-eric-stromer?video=15&ncid=aolhom00030000000001)
There was a Jos., and a Jak. (Section 29), and a Karel, and a Beta (Section 30) Palensky that are listed living in Rescue Post Office, Chester Precinct, Saunders County, Nebraska. See page 147 "Nebraska, Kansas Czech Settlers, 1891-1985" written by Margie Sobotka. ----- Original Message ----- From: <MaddieKathe@aol.com> To: <CZECH@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, March 29, 2008 3:21 PM Subject: [CZ] Palensky family from Sedlec > I've found some info on my family, before they came to the US.
