Nicole: Can I ask what year you found the passenger list. I've been trying to find the passenger list when my wife's family came from Bohemia in 1884. They departed from Hamburg in 1855. The Family History Library has the Hamburg passenger lists on microfilm and Ancestry.com has digital images of them online for the time period 1850-1934. Some are indexed, some are not. A search on an individual's surname will not be picked up if the images are not indexed, you have to go to the images and search them page by page.
