We are trying to find where these town/area names are. I have been told that names have been changed over the years. The family came to USA in 1876. A lot has happened there since then. The names I have are: Polosovica, Volisna, Svata and Dobiova. I have no idea if the spellings are correct either. Is there any recourses that might be used to help determine general area that they might have been?

Julia, I found only Svata (near Beroun). Polosovica, Volisna, Dobiova seems to be misspelled. The nearest spellings could be Polesovice for Polosovica Dubova for Dobiova Olesna for Volisna There are two Olesnas in Bohemia (near Pelhrimov and Rokycany) and one in Slovakia, near Cadca.
