    3. Thank you for the "rest of the story" -- I will take this as a lead in Yuba for Vaclav Holub. My other gt gfather Josef Wostoupal did the same thing in Kewaunee, WI, in 1857--cleared 40 acres of the 80 for farming. 1. [CZ] Joseph Hecht death cert
    2. Ronald Athey
    3. Hello. I am no relation to this person and am offering this document FREE: About 6 months ago in the course of researching our ancestor Joseph HECHT (b. 1854 Austrian Bohemia and died ??), I paid the state of CA for the death cert of a man by that same name who died Los Angeles 1943. This Joseph HECHT (not the one I seek) was a building contractor b. Czechoslovakia, husband of Rose, father of Harold and Janet HECHT. You can find the family on the 1930 fed census in NYC ED 31-1090 (Fort Washington). Harold was 22, listing his occupation as "Director, motion pictures." I enjoyed the movie "Cat Ballou" for the 27th time the other night and as the credits rolled, it finally dawned upon me whose document I had mistakenly ordered. If any Hecht of this descendancy could use this certified document, I will be happy to snail mail it or scan and email it.
