    3. Hi List Here is what my Czech friend gave as a translation for the short help. Hi, Frances. Slav's attempt: Good Day, Would it be possible regarding the name Oafaoiky- I know about this family Ostrovankach at Kyova, or maybe in Bohuslavicich. Someone is trying to find (Ing) Michala Oafaoika(from Ostrovanek)'s email address. Slav says the name is weird- doesn't sound Czech, and some of the words don't make sense.     3. Hi, I may have miss worded my query. A cousin of mine in Iowa has a document that we can't figure out. It is from her grandfathers line. I don't know how to copy it to send to the list for translation so can send it to someone via attachment. It isn't very long and this is what it says at the top lovst*r Creski (r has a mark over it or maybe it is an i ) Mane*insky Plyensky (not sure about the first y and the second has a mark over it) List Kristni There is an emblem here in a square with # 25 Is there anyone who can help? It seems to have more names and dates and stuff in it but I am not familiar enough with the language to even copy it. I can only send you the scanned copy though an attachment. Can anyone reflect on what I have in bold? Thanks Susan

    3. Hi Ginny, how goes it? Ginny found several and one in particular, baptisms of many of my relatives in the late 1800's at St. Nepomucene Church in Chicago, IL. I only knew they went to St. Wenceslaus and then to St. Procopius. The first 3 of their children were baptised at St. Wenceslaus and the rest at St. Procopius. (Skala and Kovarik) however, one daughter was born in 1875. There was Anna Skala born in 1875 and baptized at St. Procopius but the maiden name of the mother was not the same, (Kovarik) and the godparents were not the same as the others. Ginny found the right Anna Skala born in 1875 and the others were listed as well so I guess they went there for a few months then moved on to St. Procopius. I ordered the film from 1871- 1900s and have it on extended loan. If you want me to look up baptisms please let me know.     3. Hi I am not that good and there are translations sites on the web but after the Good Day. She is saying something about you ? Oafaoiky, of the faimily in Ostraovankach at Kyjova and ??. BZ and ???mailing address for Ing Michala Oafaoika from Ostrovanek ? Are some of the 1loo etc possibly numbers. If so you have a street address. If you are researching the last name she may be a relative of some sort. I have passed the item to a friend who is Czech and will mp try to translate it better.     3. Tom If no one else can help I have a Czech friend here who might giveit a go if I ask nicely. Have you ever seen a Denni Hlasatel obit ? How similar is it to them? I can do most of them ok. I simply check the previous translations and know what is the same.
