Hi Sue; My gg-grandfather Pvt Elisha Chaney 60th Tenn. Mtd. Infantry Co. A Was captured May 17, 1863 at the Battle of Big Black River, near Vicksburg, and was held prisoner at Fort Delaware until Sept. 20, 1863. Then sent to Point Lookout, Maryland arriving Sept. 26, 1863., and died there Dec. 24, 1863. His name is on the Monument at Point Lookout.
