I'm interested in obtaining information about the Confederates transported to Hart's Island following the fall of Petersburg in April 1865. In particular, I am interested in Robert Henderson Massengill of Co. K 38th NC Infantry who died there 18 May 1865 and was buried at Cypress Hills National Cemetery. Ruth Creech
