Hi list, I received those " black" digests also. They were accompanied by a message from Roots Web with a friendly reminder for list members to send all messages in plain text. Some were sent in "rich text" and other formats. Not all browsers can convert certain formats to plain text, so they show up as black or purple. Now back to my POW ancestor, Private James William McCormack <G> Where can I locate Confederate field hospital records for Dalton, GA.
