Hi, Does anyone know where these prisoners were kept? I have a J. C. Yarbrough and I had always thought that he died in the Civil War, but his name is listed in the surrender of J. E. Sparks, commander of the unit. So he must have died in the prisoner of war camp. I know he did not return from the war. His wife, my gggrandmother, remarried and had my ggrandmother.
