My Confederate ancestor, William Manley Hamilton, died of pneumonia at Camp Chase, Ohio on January 23, 1865. He was with the 19th SC Infantry when captured at Peachtree Creek during the Battle of Atlanta in July 1864. He is buried in grave 847. Does anyone know if these gravesites are identifible today. What would I see if I visited there? He has a Confederate memorial grave marker beside his wife's grave at Mountain Creek Church in Edgefield County, SC which I have seen, but I would like to visit his actual burial place if it can be found.
