    3. ----- Original Message ----- From: Mavis Johnson [email protected] An interesting puzzle here? I do not know if Ireland births come within the GRO lists? Nottingham, Stockport and Ipswich all come into my Cutts researches. Stockport was the area where Mary Smith,( nee Cutts - Nottm) (1866-1929) sister of my g.gf. Thomas Butler Cutts (Nottm)(1856-1928) gave birth to her dau. in 1893. Ipswich where the widow of my grandmother's brother's (another Thos. Butler Cutts) widow Mabel Rosa Cutts (nee Corby) remarried at Erwarton in 1914. Thomas Butler and Mabel Cutts dau. was Winifred Gladys b.16.9.1909 Nottm. In the 1881 census - only two Winnie Coutts/Cutts: as below: Do these Cutts below ring any bells? One of those in 2nd Class that perished was a F.W. SEDGWICK but no indication what sex, then in the 3rd Class there was in the saved passengers a COUTTS, WINNIE AND TWO CHILDREN, no names for the children. There are no details in the book as to where they came from or where they were going etc or what the initials stood for or their ages. I would imagine that these could be obtained from the ships passenger records. I have tried to get information as to the whereabouts of these before but got no answer, I even sent a E-Mail to the Southampton Library Research Dept but again got no answer. Cheers for now.
