Dear List. I need help in identifying the individual whose spoon I inherited. It was manufactured in England by S. Emery. and is engraved with the monogram JSC followed by a date of 1789. One of the troubling features in the initials is that they are three in number. (any thoughts?) As I have New England (Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine) CARTER, CHOATE, CURTIS AND CUTTS ancestors, I figured it had to be from one of those families. Any help would be most appreciated. I can provide a digital picture if it would help. Many thanks, E. Hubbard
