For a while now I have been trying to find who was the husband of Sarah Cutts, Widow, 52, born Skegby, at the King's Head pub in Epperstone in 1851 census. 2134/186 I have found the answer -George Cutts, publican, father named at his daughter's (Sarah) marriage 2nd July 1850 at Epperstone to John Willies, Blacksmith of Oxton........... Another piece of the jigsaw placed. Now to find which George.(b.c. 1790/1800 probably) (There is a marriage for George Cutts and Sarah Brown 22.7.1827 at Blyth which might fit, especially as Wm. Cutts of Arnold married an Elizabeth Brown at Bingham in 1795) Mavis
